OK since WHO will declare a Level 6 that is a Pandemic Tuesday, Jun 2 2009

There are few things we need to learn.

Of course the best way to fight the new influenza is to not catch it.

First, it is simple and cheap and very efficient  –  Prevent Illness – Wash Hands Video at

To prevent infecting others  –  How to Sneeze in Public – Video at

So although not a catastrophe, to avoid loosing a week in pain read the following

Just serious and there are few things that we now have to learn and consider

Swine flu: some warning signs

Some warning signs that someone is bound for a Medical Consultation

Although ‘Mild” the new swine flu can be nasty for some and as you will see, the Reveres, in a Nutshell, deliver us what are the warning signs.

This is highly valuable information’s, once we take note of it and keep it in the back of our Minds, we know that if ‘In Flew Enza’, we will know the signs and what to do.

Take the Time to read the original Message from the Paul Reveres at their Public Health Website at Effect Measure or keep reading at http://scienceblogs.com/effectmeasure/2009/06/swine_flu_warning_signs_that_s.php
Profound Thanks to the Reveres.

WHO Dr Fukuda, we are heading to full blown pandemic pretty soon Tuesday, Jun 2 2009

At 17h00 today, I could hear from the speakers at the WHO Doctor Keiji Fukuda Press Briefings on the World Wide Impacts of the new H1N1 virus.

First he said that observing what happenned in what he called Countries in Transition Phase , who are those that see’s H1N1 infections from tourists, …, well they now have Community H1N1 transmission.  He gave as examples; UK, Spain. Japan, Australia, Chili.. and that means that we are heading to a dclaration of Phase 6 of WHO wich is a World Wide Pandemic.

He said that long and intense discussion leads to a consensus of the needof a  severity scale and National Pandemic Response Implementation as much Tailored as possible.

These are and will vary trough time, depending of the situation.

As for severity it will probably be define as Mild, Moderate and Severe.

As for National Responses, some fine Tuning still to be done.

The manifestation of the Furious illness from H1N1 the age average is between 20 and 40 yrs old.

We are amist an unusual situation, we have an influenza that has manifest itself at the end of the Northern influenza season and have an unusual average age for furious illness.

He said that they will have very close eyes on the situation in the Southern Hemisphere where seasonnial influenza is beginning and where h1n1 is now present.

It indeed has few elements of the manifestation of a pandemic.

Listen to Keijii Fukuda at

Having been Hitch Hiking at the Who for years, we can expect the declaration of phase 6 between 3 to 10 days.
